This makes it easier to find what you are looking for. If you are looking for chemistry experiments then this should be a list of everything that the book has to offer.The third part of the book is the bibliography section, which is generally what the previous editions used. It also contains a list of references. For every chapter and all the experiments there is a reference. This can be useful if you need to go back and find something that you may have missed.Lastly the fourth part is a glossary, which is mainly to help you understand what is being said in the text, or to help you understand how to use it better. It is probably worth reading the book once before hand to ensure that you understand everything before you go to purchase it.In summary, the book is comprehensive, very detailed and covers all aspects of chemistry very well. As long as you can cope with learning how to work with chemical equipment and how to use them, then you should be fine. One downside to the book is that it is a bit too long for a lab book, as the laboratory is very detailed.
